Yugo has an Afro-centric feel mixed with oriental elements, set in a historical Durban building that has seen many nightlife iterations.

We chose to accentuate the double-volume interior with giant photographic artworks set into the original red brick arches. Custom fan light fixtures were designed and fabricated to throw soft lighting in the booth seat areas. The balustrades were also custom designed to accentuate the rounded look of the brick arches.

A jewel-tone palette mixed with florals was chosen for the velvet upholstery, offsetting the black interior.
