Returns

Our products are made to order. Goods purchased online that have been damaged during transit, are the incorrect item, or appear to have defects may be exchanged within a 10 day period of receiving delivery. Only goods received in their original condition and packaging will be exchanged.

If there is no physical defect or fault with the product and the exchange is based on style, finish or size, then a collection fee will be applicable and delivery fees will not be credited.

Damages and Defects

If the goods are found to be defective or damaged we will replace the goods at no cost. There might be some delays in the exchange of goods if we or our suppliers do not have the stock on hand. If we are required to order such stock, normal production lead times may apply.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and take corrective steps.

If you suspect there might be damages due to shipping or transport negligence please take pictures of the original shipped packaging, crating or wrapping before removing the goods from its packaging as proof that such damage occurred before receipt of the item and in order to ascertain the cause of the damage.

Please contact warren@georgetteblack.com with your request so that we can determine the cause of the damages and or defects and arrange for our shipping partner to collect the goods in question.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund. If you have not received your refund please contact your bank first, as there is a processing time before a refund is posted to your account. If your refund has still not been received after the allocated time, then please contact us and we will attend to the query.

Exchanges

We will only exchange items that are damaged or defective. If you want to exchange for the same item in a different colour, please contact us via email warren@georgetteblack.com Courier collection and delivery costs will be applied.

Non Refundable All Sale items are non-refundable Shipping for Returns You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

It is highly recommended using a trackable shipping service. Georgette Black will not be liable for any items that are lost in transit.
