Georgette Black is the nom de plume/alter ego of interior designer Carmen Kelly.

Thinking about optimising interior spaces is hard wired into Carmen's DNA and she has been moving furniture around and creating beautiful intuitive interiors since childhood.

Looking ahead, the obvious step was to study, get the degree and take on the world !!! Georgette Black was born out of the belief that there is a real need for quality design. Design that listens and answers a client's brief with innovative solutions and integrity.

Always searching for new experiences and challenges has guided Georgette Black to embrace collaboration with graphic designers, architects, advertising agencies and local artisans to produce the most spectacular, original and client centred projects available.

As with all creative forces, Georgette Black is a sum of its parts. The business has a small team of dedicated, creative designers that make the magic happen. Husband Warren, is the furniture and product designer taking the lead on developing bespoke work for clients as well as designing the in house range of retail furniture. Simplicity and clean lines translated through the use of timber and metal form the basis of the design aesthetic.
