Please note that due to the many variations in monitors and phone screens, colour reproduction online is not always a precise representation to the physical product been ordered. We try to display the product as life like or as close as possible on screen to the physical product but cannot guarantee it will look the same.

Warranty

Georgette Black will only be liable to honor a warranty if:

• The defect existed at the time of delivery and manifested during the warranty period;
• The defect did not arise due to normal wear and tear or misuse/abuse by the customer;
• The product concerned is used for the purpose intended and in a domestic environment
• Items used in a commercial environment have to be sanctioned by Georgette Black otherwise all warranties will be considered void.
• The customer duly complied with the care instructions and maintenance;
• The customer provides the original invoice;

Georgette Black warranty provides for the free repair or replacement of any faulty component. The customer must at his own cost, deliver the product concerned to the Georgette Black Studio.

All Furniture products have a warranty of 2 years.

Hardware & Homeware products have a warranty of 1 year.

It is entirely at Georgette Blacks discretion to offer the necessary remedy, being either repair, replace or online store credit, should your product breach the warranty. In addition, Georgette Black will charge necessary delivery costs in certain circumstances.

Metal Furniture and components:

Metal furniture is not recommended for outdoor use, especially in coastal areas unless specifically mentioned. No liability will be taken by Georgette Black for rusting of any whole item or part thereof.

Upholstered Furniture:

Upholstered furniture is warranted for a period of 2 years from date of delivery/collection in respect of the frame and craftsmanship. The warranty does not extend to the fabric or leather used to upholster the product as this is subject to wear and tear associated with use. Each fabric will have its own warranty associated with the specific supplier. Furthermore, usage and treatment in the customer’s environment is beyond Georgette Blacks control.

Lighting Components:

Electrical components have a warranty of 1 year. No components that have been subjected to electrical surges or that have been tampered with or altered from their original setup will be covered under warranty. Bulbs are not covered under warranty.
