Interior Design Terms and Conditions
• All quotations are valid for 30 days.
• Any changes subsequent to approval of construction drawings will be billed at an hourly rate of R750.
• The proposed designs will remain the property of Georgette Black (Pty) Ltd. until full payment has been received.
• In order for work to commence, we require signed approval of a quotation together with payment of a 50% deposit.
• Transportation fees for sample approval are not included in the above costs. These will be quoted & invoiced as required.
• Georgette Black (Pty) Ltd. shall not warrant or be responsible for the execution of any works undertaken by the Client's contractor/s. This will be the sole responsibility of the aforementioned contractor/s.
• Likewise, Georgette Black (Pty) Ltd. shall not be responsible for the quality of materials or articles purchased or installed in the Client's premises, for the structural condition of said premises or for the acts, work or services of any employee or contractor of the Client.
• Georgette Black (Pty) Ltd. shall however provide appropriate specialist subcontractors for specialized and delicate work, and shall endeavour to ensure that the Client receives the level of service and quality of goods from all third party suppliers that he/she is entitled to.
• Georgette Black (Pty) Ltd. will work to ensure that the proposed interior layout, design and proposed finishes will be in accordance with SABS (South African Bureau of Standards) and that all health and safety requirements are adhered to.
• Georgette Black (Pty) Ltd.reserves the right to reproduce any bespoke items that are designed and/or produced as part of or in the course of the project.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
• 50% deposit of the complete project fee is payable prior to commencement of work.
• 15% progress payment once project reaches 50% completion
• 15% progress payment once project reaches 95% completion
• Balance is payable upon completion of all snags.
• A detailed project timing plan and payment schedule will be provided subsequent to approval of project and payment of deposit.
• Please note | The 10% contingency must form part of the overall budget, and as such, should be available for use as required.
• A detailed cost variance will be provided before proceeding with any additional spend.
