THE FLOATING SHELF

Ahh, the joy we get when looking at a shelf that effortlessly appears to float off a wall.

It’s certainly not a new concept, the floating shelf, but definitely one that has been very poorly executed commercially. There are few things worse, than setting up a shelf and then have it sag under its own weight.

With this in mind we designed a shelf with a purpose built bracket that secures the shelf to the wall with no sagging. It is easy to install but more importantly does not add to the visual weight of the shelf, so the timber still looks like it is floating independently.

The Shelf is constructed in solid Oak, Ofram or Beech with a natural finish. The Bracket is 2mm steel with a black powder coated finish.
